For the last 10 years our gardening committee has been working on restoring our grounds to a more natural habitat by converting lawn to pollinator plants and native trees and bushes. We also are finding ways to live out our Quaker testimonies and beliefs in our gardens through supporting a community garden and a medicinal plant garden. Dorothy Habecker, clerk of the gardening committee, will talk about how our committee’s vision for the gardens is connected to our spiritual lives as Quakers, and also the healing of our earth. There will be an optional tour of the grounds following the program.
